Allison's mom was here! Which, okay, she already knew about me, but what if there are others who don't? And Derek's not here which means the only one older than me is Marion. We've got to keep this secret, man!

[ And maybe Ruby. He isn't sure about that yet. ]

Dude, why?! Everyone knows about Jackson, a lot of people know about Isaac. And Marion, and they knew about Derek.

I care. [ Because he wants to be normal, and because he’s still afraid. He remembers how his mom had looked at him when she found out. He doesn’t want random strangers to know what he is before he’s even had a chance to talk to them. ]

Velma, I can understand. She’s roomed with Derek and Isaac, and she’s your friend. I’d trust her. But that other girl – Kenzi? The one you told the night you were talking about the Bite? You didn’t know her at all, Stiles, she could’ve been anyone. She could’ve been a hunter.

Half this ship hates Jackson for what he is, and I don’t want that to be me. I don’t want them to know unless I trust them. There’s new people coming all the time and any one of them could be just like the Argents. Or worse.
